Harding is best known for the controversy that surrounded her ahead of the 1994 Winter Olympics and her rivalry with Nancy Kerrigan. Interestingly, Kerrigan just recently competed on DWTS in season 24. It will be interesting to see if Tonya gets Nancy's pro partner, Artem Chigvintsev.

More recently, Tonya Harding has resurfaced in the public eye thanks to I, Tonya, a film that won Allison Janney an Oscar for playing Harding's mother.

And two-time gold medalist Jamie Anderson will be one of the contestants as well, the second snowboard to participate in the show after Louie Vito.
