In honor of Red Nose Day, NBC aired a special celebrity edition of American Ninja Warrior, the incredibly difficult competition series. The revised six-obstacle course was made a little easier and the rules were thrown out, but it was all for a good cause and lots of fun. Here's a look at some of the most impressive celebrity runs.

Arrow star Stephen Amell ended the show and delivered the run of the night. He and Olympian Ashton Evans were the only celebrities to complete all six obstacles on the first try, but Amell didn't stop there. He's a huge fan of the show and he continued to the second half of the course, taking on the Salmon Ladder, something he regularly does on Arrow. He did it, but fell in the water shortly thereafter. Still, when everyone else only faced six obstacles, he outdid them all with the seventh.

Dancing with the Stars pro and World of Dance judge Derek Hough was the first celebrity of the night to compete all six obstacles. He fell into the water on his first attempt at the Fly Wheels, but got a mulligan and finished it the second time around (after ripping off his shirt and finishing the course with adorably floppy wet hair).

Parenthood star Erika Christensen, a new mom, definitely impressed people with her run, completing five of the obstacles (more than any other female celebrity) and speeding through the Floating Steps. Her performance on the Battering Ram, an obstacle most celebrities chose to skip, was the highlight. Of course she needed a little help on the 14 and a half foot Warped Wall, using her Ninja Warrior partner Flip Rodriguez as a human ladder, crawling up his body to reach the top.

American Beauty star Mena Suvari really struggled, but it meant a lot to her and she pushed herself as hard as she could. It was slow and took an entire team of Ninja Warriors to form a human ladder at the Warped Wall, but she did it.

The regular American Ninja Warrior returns for its season 9 premiere on Monday, June 12 at 8/7c on NBC.
