Though we previously reported that Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison felt the scandal surrounding the show would be cleared up soon, that doesn't appear to be the case any longer. Corinne Olympios, who is said to be one of the contestants involved in the rumored sexual misconduct that caused filming of season 4 to be suspended, has hired a legal team. TMZ reports that Corinne is "seeking justice" from Bachelor in Paradise and ABC.

DeMario Jackson Breaks Silence About Corinne Olympios After Bachelor in Paradise Scandal>>>

Corinne has released a public statement about the scandal. In the statement Corinne explained, "I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4. Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production."

Corinne continued describing the incident as her "worst nightmare." Corinne also expands on why she hired legal representation. "As I pursue the details and facts surrounding that night and the immediate days after, I have retained a group of professionals to ensure that what happened on June 4 comes to light and I can continue my life," Corinne said in the statement. "Including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening."

According to TMZ, Corinne has hired lawyer Marty Singer as her representation. Singer is a well-known lawyer for several celebrities whose clients include John Travolta and Charlie Sheen. Singer has a well-established reputation of fighting extremely hard and aggressively for his clients. The hiring of Singer makes it seem like not only is a lawsuit from Corinne probably coming but this scandal could drag on for quite some time.

Though the state of affairs is very much in the realm of rumor and allegation at the moment, the reports are that Corinne and fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestant DeMario Jackson engaged in some kind of sexual behavior on the first day of filming. The point of contention is that one or both of them might have been too inebriated to really understand (or remember) what they were doing.
