Nick Viall is ready to find love again. The former Bachelor
star confirmed that he's back in the dating game five months after his split from Vanessa Grimaldi.
"I'm dating. That's about all I'll say," Viall told Us Weekly
, adding that it took "an appropriate amount of time" to get over his breakup from his fiancee.
Viall got engaged to Grimaldi at the end of season 21 but the pair called off their engagement five months after the season ended.
In a joint statement the Bachelor couple said, "It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement. We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."
Viall's split from Grimaldi marks his fourth failed attempt at reality TV dating following his stint on The Bachelorette season 10, where he was Andi Dorfman's runner-up, on The Bachelorette season 11, where he was Kaitlyn Bristowe's runner-up, and Bachelor in Paradise season three, where he ended up single.
Meanwhile, Viall remains on good terms with his exes.
"We're on good terms [and] we're very supportive of each other," Grimaldi told Life & Style
"I saw him at a wedding this summer. Yeah, we'll like talk here and there, every once in a while," Dorfman told Us Weekly
. "You know, like check in with each other. But that's about it. No [hard feelings]."
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
