Bachelor in Paradise might be over but the next chapter in Bachelor Nation is already starting up. The first trailer for The Bachelor season 22 has been released via E! News. Arie Luyendyk Jr. is ready to find love. According the teaser, hearts will "race" for the professional driver.

Former Bachelorette Winner Jef Holm Slams Bachelor Star Arie Luyendyk Jr.: 'He's Disgusting'>>>

Filming hasn't properly started yet so there's no new really exciting footage, like a glimpse at the first group of ladies. The trailer mainly takes video from the Good Morning America announcement where Arie was revealed and combines it with some fan reactions on Twitter, which call Arie the "best damn kisser of all time."

The more interesting information about the new season might come from host Chris Harrison. Harrison is actually close friends with Arie and is therefore very optimistic for the new season. "We chose Arie because he's great. I love Arie, I'm a little biased because he's a friend of mine and I've known him for several years, so I'm actually really excited he's the Bachelor," Chris explained. "I think he's a very sincere good gentleman and I think he'll be a good one."

In a separate interview with People, Chris went into the selection of Arie a little bit further and explained why he was chosen over the heavily rumored Peter Kraus. "Peter would be a good Bachelor, could be a good Bachelor and may be a good Bachelor," Harrison explained. "Maybe he'll end up in Paradise, maybe on the Winter Games. Because Peter didn't get the nod does not mean we had this meeting and thought, 'That's really a bad guy.' He's not! It's not an indictment on him as much as this is the direction we're going to take the show."

Of course, some fans can't let Peter go and their desires have only been fueled by Bachelor executive producer Mike Fleiss. On his Twitter account, Fleiss has been teasing that the shocking casting announcements aren't done quite yet and that there could be two Bachelors coming in season 22, one of them being Peter. It's not unprecedented. Bachelorette season 11 opened with two leads and the men had to decide.

Harrison was quick to dissuade those rumors. The host said that two Bachelors are "not happening." Harrison confirmed that Fleiss was, once again, "trolling" his audience and two leads isn't something Chris wants to see happen ever again. He added, "Please don't let that happen!"

But what do you think? Are you looking forward to Arie? Do you think Peter would've made a better Bachelor star? Do you still think there will be two leads in season 22? Would you want two leads?
