Bethenny Frankel's strained friendship with Carole Radziwill is one of the subjects in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City
. As we reported previously and as teased in the season 10 trailer, the former BFFs grew apart last summer as Carole trained for the New York City Marathon and Bethenny focused on her B Strong charity. But "things turned acrimonious while filming" as Carole started taking co-star Tinsley Mortimer's side. Unfortunately, their feud has also affected the rest of the group.
According to Ramona Singer, the housewives are somewhat divided when it comes to Bethenny and Carole.
"A discord between Bethenny and Carole kind of affected the whole ambiance of the show, and all of a sudden this season, I'm like really close to Dorinda [Medley] and Carole," Ramona told Us Weekly
. "I don't think we chose sides, I think things just happened organically. Whatever happened between Bethenny and Carole happened between them, and everything else just kind of happened organically."
Given Ramona's statement, it also sounds like she and Bethenny are not exactly on good terms.
"Bethenny's just not happy, I mean she says she's not happy, I mean she's either crying or screaming ... hopefully she'll get happy," she added.
Besides Bethenny and Carole's feud, season 10 will also shed light on Luann de Lesseps' controversial arrest in Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve. As reported previously, the former Countess was charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer/firefighter/EMT, resisting arrest with violence and threatening a public servant. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and later checked herself into a treatment facility.
